I love makeup. I’m not even ashamed to admit it. I’m the kind of girl you could send me endless amounts of makeup and I’d be in my element. So can you imagine how excited I was when Pixi sent me the cutest gift ever?
This box celebrates their gorgeous Rose collection. Arriving perfectly wrapped I had already seen Carly from Beauty Sauce’s unboxing on her Instagram.
A gorgeous book like the box was locked with a gorgeous rose gold lock and key. As I unlocked the box and opened it up inside there were two secret compartments. One holding six beautifully natural looking Mattelast Liquid Lip stains. The other side of the beautifully detailed box, a tube of Rose Flash Balm and another of Rose Caviar Essence. The packaging so feminine and luxurious. I felt like I was part of an enchanted fairytale.
I couldn’t wait to try them out. Heading straight for the Caviar Essence (£26.00) I had heard about this encapsulated moisture serum. The serum is non-greasy, it works perfectly on a mix of skins, I have normal skin, however, I do love to moisturise to keep my face looking fresh and youthful. I found with daily usage over the festive period it has helped my skin look less sallow.
The Rose Flash Balm (£26.00) oh my goodness, where has this been all my life? It’s simply an essential now. I simply clean my face in the morning with cleanser and toner and then just before I’m ready to apply my make up I apply the Rose Flash Balm. It helps my makeup sit perfectly and gives my skin a flawless appearance.

Can I let you into a Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood secret?
The six shades of Mattelast Liquid lip stains (£16.00 each) are gorgeous, with a petal-shaped application wand, they smell delicious. The formula is light and when applied the colours are exceptionally pigmented. They are long lasting and don’t need to be reapplied frequently either. What I absolutely love about them is they actually don’t budge and unlike the Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Lipstick, it doesn’t end up all over your teeth either. I love the Really Rose and Evening Rose shades, they’re absolutely stunning on and really suit my fair complexion.
Whilst this box isn’t available online (just yet) you can buy the products separately and I actually really recommend each one of the products. Pixi is a range I’ve seen when walking through the likes of Marks & Spencer’s, and haven’t really paid much attention to. However, after experiencing the skin care and lip care ranges, I will certainly be investing in more of the range and if you’ve not checked them out yet either, highly recommend you do!
You can shop the whole range here.
