If you’re looking for the most instagrammable place in Newcastle let me tell you here at Elle Blonde we’ve found it. Think neon script lettering, faux flower walls and cakes so cute even Mary Berry wouldn’t stand a chance!

If you’re not familiar with the Great British Cupcakery, Bakery & Parlour then you’ll want to head to their Instagram double time. Nestled below the iconic Tyne Bridge on Queen Street, this pink paradise is fit for, yes you guessed it. A Queen.

With a brand new look, the Cupcakery hosted a launch event and we headed down to check it out. Located vibrantly on the corner, if you take a stroll to the Quayside (which is a five-minute walk from the city centre) you’ll end up passing GBC. Don’t walk on past though, make sure you head on inside to the family-owned (and run) parlour.

Delicate and the sweetest cupcake pink the location is quaint, you’ll want to grab a seat by the floral wall for the all-important strong ‘gram game image you’re going to take.
The Great British Cupcakery serve up a massive selection of cupcakes priced from. £2.50. Beautifully crafted hot and cold drinks and even gluten-free and vegan items!

If you’re looking for a spectacular cake for any occasion then check out their store online for these. I am loving the mermaid cake. However, the pink flamingo cake on the evening was simply stunning!
