5 Amazing Beauty Steals From The September Glossybox
Siligel Blender (£5.99)
First up there Siligel Blender. You will have seen this on YouTube, the silicone beauty blender. If you haven’t where have you been? I’m not 100% how I feel about this, although it does promise to be more hygienic than sponge blenders and of course, uses less product as it’s not absorbed into the fibres of the sponge or the bristles of the brush. I’m going to be honest, I haven’t tried it yet. I will. When I have a little time on my hand. I do however feel a little uneasy about this as I look at it like putting my foundation on with a breast implant? I’d LOVE to hear your thoughts about the Siligel Blender.
Pixie by Petra Brow Tamer (£12)
I’m all about the brows, this brow tamer holds unruly brows in place. Comparing it to Brow Bar’s brow gel, I love this Brow Tamer as it’s light and dries instantly allowing me to fill my brows in with a little powder to make sure they’re on fleek of course. The tamer also asks almost as an adhesive to stop that powder budging.
MONU Firming Fiji Facial Oil (full-size £26)
Patchouli is one of my most favourite scents ever (Jo Malone’s Amber & Patchouli from 2010 was to die for)! I’ve featured MONU before on site, their packaging is elegant, simplistic and almost clinical. The blend of Bois de Rose with the Patchouli essential oils calm, firm and leave skin softer. I do have to just say that my go to body firming oil is The Body Shop’s Spa of The World oil it’s amazing. The Firming Fiji Facial Oil has been designed to leave your skin brighter too. Apply in the morning and evening to dry skin or replace your usual night cream with this oil as the seasons change.

Cetaphil Mini Skincare Trio (full size £14.99 each – Moisturising Cream £8.99)
If you’re in the know like Pixie from Fashion Voyeur on the fashion circuit you’ll know that Cetaphil has long been used backstage to remove models’ make up, whilst looking after sensitive skin. This power trio is the ultimate skin care kit and ideal if you’re heading to catch the tail end of the Summer sun! Check out the cleanser, the cream for your face and the lotion for your body.
The Hero Product – Taylor’s 32 Flavoured Natural Whitening Toothpaste
As always I pick a favourite ‘hero’ product from the box every month. It comes as no surprise that it’s the teeth whitening product. I am absolutely whitening obsessed and couldn’t wait to try out this toothpaste having just finished using my White Glo. Taylor’s 32 has been developed by dentists as an all-natural minty toothpaste with sodium bicarbonate and silica to help naturally remove stains. It contains xylitol and fluoride to reduce plaque whilst the Vitamin E helps with gum health.
Finally, keeping us Glossies sweet since 2011. Thanks for the mid-morning sugar rush.
Don’t forget you can grab this box PLUS the Spectrum Fan & Banana Setting Powder from July box when you grab this month’s box. Redeem the offer here and use the code SEPTEMBER at the checkout.
Next month sees the arrival of another collector’s edition box. Mermaid or Unicorn. Glossy…..I’m a Unicorn. We already know that though, right?
