Throwback to the ’80s
With Love Island hitting our screens next week, why not throwback to the ’80s for a retro style, side-splitting Summer holiday. Full of romance, innuendo, and some great music. This new musical, from the creators of West End favourite, Hairspray is set in sunny Spain at ‘Hotel Tropicana’. Join Joe McElderry, Eastender’s Neil McDermott, the iconic Kae Robbins from Spitting Image and former Sugababe star Amelle. As they have your feet tapping and up dancing. To the sounds of Girls just wanna have Fun, The Look of Love, Relax, Take on Me and many more.
Club Tropicana the drinks a freeeeeee
The raunchy, revved up performance is hilarious from start to finish, with sexual references and strong language parental guidance is recommended. This cheesy feel-good musical follows a jilted groom and the bride-to-be heading to the same hotel with friends. Making use of their collective ‘Honeymoon’ without the other party realising, all whilst the staff at Club Tropicana prepare for a hotel inspector’s visit in a competition for a prestigious hotel award.
The performance is great fun, with an easy to follow the storyline for a great time, with a very pantomime like feel from the cast and a lot of jazz hands it’s over the top camp and just the perfect evening to kick back and enjoy 80’s classic with a laugh.
Tickets are on sale now, see if Club Tropicana is coming to a theatre near you.
