With Halloween creeping closer we have an amazing Guest Post today with top places to head this Halloween in Newcastle, from the Newcastle event gurus themselves – Nights Out in Newcastle.
Here at Nights Out In Newcastle we love Halloween, the perfect chance to get dressed up as your favourite horror movie character, superhero or fictional villain and party the night away with friends.
Many will choose to throw their own parties, bob for apples and drink ghoulishly ghastly cocktails at home but for those who want a night out there is an ever-increasing number of options available as the popularity of organised Halloween events soar. We’ve looked at the spooky, scary and downright strange goings-on in the North East and come up with our ultimate Halloween nights out in Newcastle.

Night at the museum
Newcastle’s Discovery Museum hosts their annual night of spooky fun on Friday 28th October. This is especially suitable for under 7s, but all children under 12 are welcome. Visitors are encouraged to come in fancy dress for the Fright night fancy dress competition and enjoy the Devilish Disco in the Great Hall.
There’s also the chance to make creepy crafts, decorate the gingerdead, participate in ‘Bugs & Stuff‘ animal handling, explore freaky feely boxes and have a go at Trick or Treat target toss. Then if you’re feeling brave you can listen to bewitching tales and go on a ‘Groan up’ trail.
Tickets cost £5 per child plus £1 per accompanying adult and should be booked in advance.
