Can you post a Guest blog?

We are inundated daily with email requests for Guest Posts. For any type of post-insertion on Elle Blonde we have strict guidelines about the content we publish;

  • 500-1,500 words, anything over or under this word count won’t be accepted.
  • The content must contain subheadings and the paragraphs, short and easy to read.
  • A minimum of 3 royalty-free images, these must be high resolution and preferably your own images and not stock.
  • Infographics are also accepted.
  • We actively encourage a bio with links to your site.

Are you classed as a guest blog?

Here at Elle Blonde, we define a Guest Post as genuine content written by an author that does not work for or on behalf of a client. Typically these types of posts are from the following writers:

  • Authors including Book authors, Bloggers etc trying to raise their profile and increase the reach of their own Blog
  • Any individual wishing to submit content, pre-blog launch.
  • We do like to collaborate with influential entrepreneurs so on occasion if there’s a mutual collaboration we are more than happy to accept guest posts from these sources.

There is NO cost associated with posting a guest post.

if you're working on behalf of a company

If you wish for Elle Blonde to host your content, you don’t fall into the above category and you are providing content directly or on behalf of clients to gain backlinks yours or your client’s website.

If you are a larger company wishing to place links to their products or services for financial gain, then this falls into paid placement. This is typically;

  • Any individual or SEO company working on behalf of a third party to place links to their client’s page
  • Any larger organisation wishing to provide content to gain backlinks or raise awareness of their products and services through the placement of the article content

Please email me with the subject heading ‘Paid Placement’ and we can discuss the cost of the work that is required for your content to be hosted and promoted to our network of over 200,000 individuals. We will have to assess the following;

  • If you are supplying your own images or will I be required to source them (or shoot them)?
  • Editing time; is the content SEO friendly. How much time is required if I need to amend it?
