Let’s find out her tips for working out at home
Being involved in a fitness club or signing up for a gym membership is a great way to get your body the exercise it needs. But there are individuals who cannot do so due to different personal reasons like the discomfort of leaving home, preference to exercising at home, lack of finances to pay for an expensive gym membership, or no gym accessibility.
Regardless of the causes, there are still many different ways to improve your fitness level and lose weight without spending money or leaving your home. Below are some of the weight loss tips every homebody needs to know.
Do Home Exercises
Exercising at home does not require any bulky or expensive equipment. They can be done whether you are in the living room, the bedroom or even in a hotel room while travelling. Individuals who also have access to the Internet can easily download or watch home exercise videos by fitness gurus found all over Youtube.
The best part about working out at home is that you do not need to spend too much money for it. You can work out in the comfort of your own home. You don’t have the feeling of being too conscious about people are staring at you. Workout clothes would not be a problem either as you can wear anything you like.
The only downside of it is that unlike the gym, nobody is looking out for your safety or checking if you are doing the exercise right. Make sure to follow all guidelines and demonstrations to get the maximum results.
If you are unsure of what exercises to follow, you can check out the list of home exercises produced by The American Council on Exercise.
Use Versatile Home Equipment
Exercise equipment used at home is incredibly versatile. Purchasing weights, resistance bands and stability balls are fairly inexpensive too. Using a jump rope is another tip to achieve a great cardio workout to burn off some excess fat.
Another popular equipment that can be used at home is what gym goers call the TRX. It is a suspension-based workout and training system that you can install somewhere in your house.
If your home exercise requires weights that you cannot afford or cannot store at home, use a bag full of grocery items as an alternative. Be creative on what you can do with the things you have lying around at home.
Be Open To A Variety Of Methods
Aside from working out, there are other methods for losing weight. Adding some variety will keep the exercise routine interesting and exciting. If you live in a condominium with a swimming pool, you can use that to your advantage.
Swimming at least 20 minutes a day is a great cardio workout. Running up and down the stairs instead of using the elevator is also an exercise you can do to improve the aesthetics of your legs and glutes.
Some individuals also take supplements to boost their fitness goals. For body builders, they use protein shakes. While for those who simply want to shed excess fat, they use fat burners. Natural thermogenic fat burners are known to be very effective especially when taken 20 to 30 minutes before breakfast.
As your body just came out from a long night’s rest, it needs that extra “oomph” to kickstart your metabolism. Natural thermogenic fat burners are good for this and include raspberry ketones, forskolin supplements and, garcinia cambogia. Try and find those that contain caffeine like green coffee bean extract and green tea extract.
Open your options to other types of exercises. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), CrossFit exercises, Zumba, circuit training, Cize, and other combination or aerobic exercises are available on DVD. If you plan to do resistance training, it is recommended by the American College of Sports Medicine that you train 2 to 3 times a week. This is per major muscle group. Preferably 2 to 4 exercise sets with 8 to 15 repetitions.
Anyone can lose weight even without going to the gym. As long as you make time and stay committed to your weight loss plans. You will truly lose the unwanted weight and find many alternatives to help you achieve your body goals as quickly as possible.
