The beauty halls of department stores are my favourite places to whilst away the hours. From the spritz of a newly launched perfume to the brush of an old faithful blusher, there’s not a secret tip or trick that these ladies don’t know about getting you looking your best.
If you’ve ever spent time wandering through your local Debenhams or House of Fraser you’re more than likely to have stumbled across a Benito Brow Bar. The orange and black branded beauty bars are dotted about in over 30 locations across the UK their most recent opening in Topshop in Belfast.
Arriving at the Benito we were greeted with a warm welcome and glass of prosecco. You see a theme here? Prosecco every day!
Taking a seat my Brow tech talked me through what was happening and then patch tested me for tinting. Having already had a patch test at another Benito Bar I was confused as to why I required another patch test, but it made perfect sense since their records aren’t shared. It’s always better to be safe than sorry, especially after heading for a different treatment elsewhere a few weeks ago and not having a patch test at all!
As I took my seat and the gorgeous Zest of Alice distracted me with her fast paced gossip whilst my Brow tech began to shape my eyebrows using the threading method. Almost as quick as Alice’s story my eyebrows were shaped to the best shape they’ve ever been in. Virtually pain-free and extremely quick this technique is a firm favourite to making sure that you have the best brows around, what’s even better is their walk-in service means you can stop by on your lunch break or if you need 5 minutes whilst out shopping.
Finishing off my Brow make over my technician cooled my red brows down with aloe Vera gel. Which was perfect as they were on fire!
The friendly and fast service is extremely competitively priced when comparing to waxing and costs £13 for threading and tint. I absolutely love an eyebrow tint as it takes the pressure off ‘painting my eyebrows on’ as my 8-year-old cousin likes to say.
Benito also offers lash extensions and of course, it’s got to be Nouveau, my favourite lash brand of them all.
Other treatments include facial threading from lip to chin and face and arm massages.
With packages for block bookings and a loyalty scheme, you know that you’re going to get a great priced high-quality service.
